Objectives:
The objectives of this program are: Gain a thorough understanding of BCM to ensure skills, knowledge and expertise to manage BCM programmes; Ongoing BCM Programme management and governance; Determine impact of disruption to critical activities support key products or services; Recognise the threats to their communities and analyzing the potential effects; Learn the 5 Principles of the Hyogo Framework for Action and assessment process; Assessing the Risk to Business Critical Functions; Preparing strategy approaches to be taken by organisation s to ensure continuity in the event of disruption; Recognise the need for joint planning and working with the emergency services; Developing business continuity plans and response structures; How to firmly fix the key aspirations of the BCM Programme within an organization; Ensuring an organisation uses a BCM programme to minimise the impact of a pandemic; Verifying the ongoing effectiveness of BCM arrangements and to provide greater assurance following an incident;
