Competency-based Performance Management

Future businesses will continue to see cost increases, higher competition, and labor scarcity, despite the fall of the economy. The situation could worsen when the economy picks up in the near future. Successful companies must continue to strive for higher productivity to retain their market share, and be ahead of the competitors. Key to that is to work towards achieving higher returns in existing resources, and hence the need to adopt the competency-based approach to HRM.

Objective
This workshop aims to provide participants an overview of the competency-based performance management system, and to assist participants to develop the relevant sets of competencies required for employees for the company, in line with their corporate vision, values, missions, goals, and objectives.

Outcome
Participants are expected to attain appropriate knowledge of competency-based performance management system, and to develop skills in competency modeling, to identify the relevant competencies required for employees of the company.
